Annual Water Quality Report
Each year, we produce a water quality report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR).
It includes information about where our water comes from and how it’s treated. The report also includes a summary of our water quality test results for the prior calendar year and whether we met all regulatory requirements.
All water utilities are required to produce this report each year by July 1st.

Mount Pleasant Waterworks (MPW) is a regulated public water system that is subject to federal and state drinking water regulations. MPW’s water system is monitored in accordance with state and federal drinking water regulations. “Each year MPW submits the Annual Water Quality Report to the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and makes this information available to all customers. I recently confirmed with South Carolina DHEC that MPW’s Water Quality is in compliance with all applicable drinking water standards,” stated General Manager Clay Duffie.
